Hello

My name is Julia Greco and I am an aspiring Child Life Specialist. I'm currently a graduate student in the Child Life Studies advanced track MS online program at Missouri State University. I'm incredibly passionate about working with children and families and believe I have a bright future as a CCLS someday!

I grew up in Washington Township, NJ with my mom, dad, and older brother. We have since relocated to Fort Myers, FL; however, I'm currently living temporarily in State College, PA. I relocated to the central Pennsylvania area in fall of 2017 to study Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State. Following my graduation from my Bachelors program a semester early in December 2020, I decided to temporarily remain in the State College area while completing my online Masters program. I'm a huge fan of Penn State football, crafting, and all things Disney! I have a 6 week old kitten named Zeno and look forward to adding future pets to my family. I recently completed a child life practicum program at Penn State Children's Hospital in Hershey, PA and I am planning to complete a clinical internship program in the Spring 2022 semester!
 

As a child life student, I have learned so much about working with children and families as well as who I am as a person, as a leader, and as a friend. I believe the role of a child life specialist is so special and essential in all settings with children, but particularly in the healthcare setting.
